Christian Fellowship Church, Kingdom Of Bahrain

About Us

In the year 1997, Bro. Zac Poonen came to Bahrain just for the purpose of meeting three young brothers from India who were working here .Bro. Zac indented to stay in Bahrain only for a day or two, as such no meetings had been planned.. But his departure was unexpectedly delayed for 4 or 5 days, because he could not get a visa for his onward travel to another country since the immigration offices were all closed for 4 days of holidays. So He decided to have meetings here every day – morning, afternoon and evening at the home of a brother. It was an unplanned conference – unplanned by men, but planned by God. God led few brothers from different parts of the Kingdom to these meetings, who were gripped by the truth and started meeting at the home of this brother regularly and the Lord started adding more and more members to His body in Bahrain and also let some of the members to leave the church. *it was during those days, God opened our eyes to see the importance of the role of an apostle for the building of a new covenant local church.* The yearly conferences, messages, and books by brother Zac Poonen has groomed the Church to its present strength. The main focus of the church is to establish a pure testimony for the Lord in this alien land by pursuing transformed lives through continuous repentance, brokenness, by the working of the Holy Spirit . The main meeting is on Friday between 10.30 AM to 12.30 noon at St. Christopher’s church (lower hall ) Manama and Monday evening cottage meetings from 8.00Pm to 9.30 PM are usually held at the homes of believers. Bros. Georgekutty Thomas Sojan Thomas and Anish John are the 3 elders presently leading the church .
